Eberly's Hometowne Designs has been family owned and operated based out of Lancaster, PA for the last 25 years. Since our beginning, we have focused on creating quality, hand-crafted home decor. While trends keep changing, we pride ourselves in constantly designing new pieces and styles.

In 1990, the business began with small evening projects in the woodshop including items like wooden books, shadow boxes, and bird houses. Gradually, our side hustle grew into a full time endeavor moving to a larger woodshop on the farm Rod grew up on.

Throughout the years, each of our kids found their own niche working in the business, whether it was staining frames, cleaning mirror glass, or way too much sanding (as they like to remind us).

 

We've always enjoyed creating and working with our hands. Visualizing an idea and then creating a tangible result was energizing- a consistent theme that continues driving us today.

Outside of work, Rod enjoys biking, hunting, and trying different recipes on his smoker. Marilyn enjoys creating just about anything including sewing projects, knitting, and arranging flowers.
